ORIGINS

ETRNL VAULT was founded in Nashville, Tennessee on December 4th, 2021. It was intended to be a platform where fashion designers could create augmented reality experiences around their clothing. This platform required NFC authentication tags to be embedded in the clothing to securely enable the experiences and protected content. However, setting up NFC authentication was a lot more difficult than what we were anticipating. This is due to ambiguous error codes, lack of programming language specific documentation, and complex cryptographic functions. After spending months trying to get NFC authentication working, we developed a strong passion for NFC technology, and thus ETRNL was born.

Since ETRNL was founded, we've greatly valued customer feedback and want our users to have the best experience possible. Our Discord server was created as a way to hear feedback and learn about more specific use cases for the tags. However, it became the entry point for a lot of ETRNL's current team members. Through long chats and late night calls, we've built a team of extremely passionate individuals who want to make this technology easy to use and integrate for mass adoption.
